DONATE

MS 223 is currently looking for organizations and individuals to partner with in order to continue the following initiative:

  • MS 223 Community Reading Project : MS 223 provided lending librarys to local businesses in an effort to promote literacy in the South Bronx Community.
  • MS 223 Library Renovation Project: MS 223's Library is over 50 years old. With only one library and no books stores in the South Bronx Community, it is imperative that our students have a place for literacy resources, books, and research materials.
  • MS 223 Summer Arts Program: A free summer program for students that addresses the learning-loss that some students, particularly those from low-income families, experience between June and September. The Summer Arts Program offers afternoon classes in painting, printmaking, and orchestral music — in addition to trips to Broadway shows and the Museum of Modern Art.
